Compeer Rochester helps youth and adults overcome the devastating effects of mental illness, such as loneliness, low self-esteem and isolation, through the healing power of friendship. We offer programs providing supportive friendships to people in mental health care or with emotional challenges. Our programs, which serve as a complement to therapy, include one-to-one volunteer mentoring relationships, skill-building and interim telephone support.
